Silkies

I have a wyandotte Rooster that's old enough to crow and has been for quite sometime, but inside the same run but seperate from then rooster is my 4 silkies, I'm suspicious one or two might be a rooster but they haven't even tried to crow yet, they are of age to crow because my sister in laws started trying to crow, I heard if they don't feel dominate they won't crow how true is that?

Dominance can inhibit crowing, but it is doubtful that birds in separate enclosures feel dominated.
