This makes me feel better.... and is exactly the reason I’m keeping until they crow/lay.

I guess you could call them "cousins". The boys are always the sweetest chicks IMO.
Hope you can keep him anyway.

Ahhh okay! And I wouldn’t be able to... unless his crow is quiet enough. I’m hoping one of my country friends would be able to take it and if not will definitely do a coop/flock check to a new home.

If he is bearded he may not get wattles, or they will be quite small.

I know it’s impossible to sex silkie until they crow/lay but just want opinions. (I will not take action until I know for a fact. I just am a curious chicken owner!). She’s starting to develop wattles and a big comb and is 8-9 weeks. What are you thinking, pullet or cockerel?

I am not the best at this but I want to say its a boy
