Silkies

I am in Idaho, does anyone know a good place to buy silkies? We are looking for show quality. Has anyone had any luck with silkies coming from a hatchery? Any and all info would be great. Thanks

Do NOT buy from cackle hatchery. My silkies were in the mail a week. Like three of them were dead and they sent me an assortment of colors. Only was suppose to get I think blue. I only have one hen right now and she does go broody at least two times a year and this year she finally got to hatch some chicks. Quality wise she is not sq.

If you want pet quality Silkies order from a hatchery. There are many hatcheries to choose from, and all them have good and bad reviews. (So far I've only had good experiences with Cackle.) It is impossible to please every customer, not have error, and for all chicks to survive through shipping no matter the weather or handling of post office.
