Yeah, i wasnt mad at the dog that got my EEs, i was mad at the owner for letting his dog run around all the time. That same dog tried to bite me IN MY OWN YARD! I told the guy what i thought about his dog owning habits haha

And yeah, i've been worried about hawks because i do see them a good bit. And we have a lot of buzzards around too. But luckily, they dont seem to want to bother the chickens. I think it helps that i have them in the goat lot and i have places for the goats to go for shelter, so the chickens can hide in there if one flies over.

That's good. Will you ever ship your partridge eggs. If one of my hens goes broody I would love to put a couple of those under her.

I sure would! My partridge hen isn't broody, so i have my black hen sitting on two of her eggs right now. Let me know if you are ever interested!

Do you have any pictures of you other colors and how often do your silkies go broody.
