I know silkies are hard to tell at young age... but I am thinking this little cuckoo chick is a cockerel. I have another chick the same age and I see quite a few differences. Then again the cuckoos are very different.

I think that's what I love about my silkies. They always look so silly. I have a hen that I swear she dunks her whole head in the water cause her hair on top of her head is always wet. They are so cooky and silly.

Hey just lost the whole post. So here goes again. Trying to sex my 11 week old Silkie named Godzilla. Don't care either way if boy or girl just curious I have one for sure girl that's 6 months old laying eggs. One more black Silkie same age unknown I will get picture later of that one. But here's Godzilla.

Looks like a pullet to me. I don't see any kind of comb in those pics. My black "Diva" has no comb at all. Her crest stops right above her nostrils.
