Those silkie crosses are excellent broodies.

In other words... your Turken aren't pure for any specific color and you WILL be illegally shipping birds below the radar. Doesn't matter where they came from originally as far as I know... according to the law.All of my birds came from either hatcheries or people with NPIP stock so none of mine have any diseases or parasites ex. I have 2 black hens, 1 splash roo, and 2 Brown roos. 1 of my brown turken hens went broody and the roos have not been mating the others aggressively so I have not had to separate any roos.
I got my turkens from tractor supply if that helps any. And I don’t know of any hatcheries or anything that sells a certain turken color. They just have a mix of colors together. And I’m in the middle of getting The same NPIP number for all my birds cause as of right now they all have different ones.In other words... your Turken aren't pure for any specific color and you WILL be illegally shipping birds below the radar. Doesn't mean there isn't something at your place that hasn't reared it's ugly head yet... Chickens hide things well.
Anyways, I don't mean to be ugly... just try to encourage people to stay within the law instead of ruining it for those of us who do! Keep big brother off our backs as much as possible.
Anyways, your mix birds are cute and I love Turken!
Silkies are excessively broody... but they are far from the best broody's in my experience, half the time not even teaching their chicks to roost before ditching them. My very favorite broody's have been a barred Rock and my Marans hens are the best!
Good luck and best wishes with your flock, they sound like a fun group of birds.![]()
