I don't know silkies lol.

I'm just hopping it's female so I can hatch some eggs with it without having to crack up the bator for just a few test eggs.

The photos are not good for determining gender. Need a level profile that shows the entire body, preferably with the bird standing.

One person to pay attention to bird/for bird to pay attention to. A 2nd to take photos. Get down level with the bird--the camera should be level with the ground, not pointing downward at all.
