silky splay leg

My cute little silky chick has splay leg. I googled on how to wrap. I went with the stretchy medical bandage. Her legs were spread eagle beside her. As soon as i wrapped her legs she was standing up. She was only about 6 hours old. Hopefully in a few days she will be standing great on her own. I will post updates.

Cutie. I would also start her on some chick vitamins with riboflavin daily. B complex would also work 1/4 tablet crushed daily. I would leave the leg hobbles on for 4 days, which worked well for my chick who had splay legs.

chick is good as new. 4 days with the leg brace and shes running around like nothing was wrong with her.

Oh my gosh.my Lil silkie just hatched and her legs are spread eagle. I will wrap them in the morning. Does this really work? She is only 7 hrs old. The other chick is fine.

My Lil one is much smaller w splayed legs. She is doing the splitz. I am afraid to hurt her wings or legs. She is finally taking food from my finger nail and mouth. So cute. Smallest chick I have ever seen. Silkie and her other hatchiling is so healthy and big. She js in the Lil jar.pardon my neck.lol
