Hi folks. I'm new here from Australia with a mixed flock of free ranging chickens and a couple of ducks. I have a silky that I've just found lesions on her face tonight and I'm going to struggle to get to a vet in next week. All the other birds are fine. We had a day heavy rains and flooding but we cleaned out sheds and birds have had dry wood chips and dusted for mites.
Appreciate any guidance. Thankyou

Fowl Pox.
It's a virus transmitted by mosquitoe bites.
It clears up within a few weeks on it's own. The chicken will be immune to it, & never get it again.

There's another form of Fowl Pox that has some danger to it, & that is Wet Fowl Pox. This form would require assistance through the illness.
