my babes roost on top of their coop , instead of inside . Is there a way to help them feel more comfortable inside ? And learn to use their nesting boxes when they are ready to lay ?
If you lock them in the coop by coaxing them with their favorite treats for a few nights, the will eventually learn to sleep inside of the coop, instead of on top. And to train them to use the nest boxes, you can get ceramic eggs, or golf balls, and put one or two inside of each box.
