I have a push button start. I keep my fob in my purse. I can lock my doors on the outside if my purse is with me by pushing a place on the door handle.Dont need to pull the fob out. Coming back I can unlock my door if my purse is with me by pushing the place on the door handle. Don't need to pull the fob out.I didn't think you could lock it without the key fob? When DH had his Prius, he had to get out of the car WITH the fob and lock it, then put the fob in his pocket.
