Mine peck at any spot they see too, or jewelry. Or the cats eyes. I don't want them to get close enough to MY eyes to see a shine on them.
I have also had them jump on my head or shoulder when they are upset and I canNOT get them off, LOL. Fortunately no poo-ing on the head. Yet.
What I think is funny is that when I bring them a treat, they all mob around me. The first one to get some of the treat runs off squealing that she has it. Everyone else of course chases her. Few of them will take a treat that is just HANDED to them. No, they want to STEAL it from someone else.
And the someone who has the treat, if they really wanted to EAT it, wouldn't they just quietly do so? They'd rather squeal about it and have everyone else try to snatch it. I think they have more fun being chased than eating.
Except one RIR. I think she's a bit smarter. When she gets a treat, she heads for the corner, very quietly, and stands with her back to everyone and eats it. Given usual chicken behavior, maybe SHE's the silly one.
