Silly Egg question

I have a silly question.....Im new to this and my chickens are 12 weeks old now.
Is it true that the eggs will taste like what you feed the chickens?
Like is if feed my chickens mint will the eggs taste like mint(when they start laying) lol

Hi, I don't think that the chicken feed that you give yours chickens influence the taste of the egg,but it do make a difference on the weight,the colour and nutrient factors of the egg. Bon appetit!

Fish and garlic in large amounts will come through as a bit of an nasty taste.

Onion, mint and garlic are ones that I know will flavor your eggs (and not in a good way even if you do like a strong taste of those)
