I've been all excited to get my new chicks tomorrow. Well, I just checked my e-mail and apparently I misread, they are shipping tomorrow.

So they probably won't be here until Friday.I 'm so inpatient!!! I want my chickies, now! Everyone keeps posting these cute little picture of their chicks and it's not fair, I tell you! not fair at all!

Ps does anyone else have La Fleche??

I would love to have the WF Spanish too. I once had a dream about one of them hanging upside down from a branch over my birdfeeder...

I'm exited about the La fleche. I saw a pair at the fair a few years ago and they are so intriguing. Never found any who breeds them and finally found a hatchery that has them and just had to take the chance.

Maybe your dream was saying you need to order some chicks and get some WF Spanish! Or at least that's how I would interpret it.

Mine never hangs upside down from branches...lol

I love bats too, but you can't order them on the internet. I do have a couple of bat houses though!

Angie I know how you feel! We had ordered our chicks 4/12, and waited.. and waited... the feed store said they could be in as early as 4/26 so pretty much from that point on I called (or had dh call, LOL!) every few days.. one of my friends nicknamed me the Agway Stalker

Eventually the little fluffs hatched on Mother's day, and we got the the next afternoon. But wow the waiting STUNK! We pretty much had everything ready the month before.

They'll be here before you know it, and grow like weeds!

I've thought about the LaFleche and the Crevecouer's because of the devil's horns combs...really freak out the neighbours.(insert evil laugh here)
I've thought about bat houses, but neither my DH or myself are keen on ladders and they have to be about 10 feet up the tree.
