Silly Peafowl questions from a complete newbie...

Fermented feed is popular with chickens. You put feed and water in a bowl, stir it, and it ferments like sourdough.
Sorry about #9 being blank, that was a mistake.

Fermented food is fine for them. Mine love it, although they always try to pick out the sunflower seeds and meal worms first.

Thank you, everyone. Very useful information.

. they can definitely fly over your 5 foot fence, but if they know where home is it wont be a problem. like you i have one pair. make sure they are penned for at least a month or so first if you a buying anything older than a couple months so they can learn where home is. my male flew over our 6 foot fence once but i got him back no problem. mine learned not to fly over because neighbors on all sides have dogs. they are old now and even when they are out side ( i let them out twice a week and they have a 230ish ft^2 pen) they rarely go more than 30 ft from the pen, whereas they used to go maybe 1000 ft away. if you have any large trees theyll make it a priority to go to the top while they are still yearlings. they will make noise in the breeding season please be aware, still a pleasure to keep. ( i know i wrote things in feet not meters hope that wasnt a problem). hope i helped!
