hello

as you can see im asking a silly question

there is a tree oposite my works that grows apples, no one uses the tree or eats from it.

i have in the past but not this year.

is it safe for my chickens to eat ?

thanks

I would think so. Sometimes those apples are pretty sour though. You could just cut a few for them and see if they like them! If they don't like the taste, you'll know it! LOL

thank you !
ill take some home tonight then see what happens

i just bought a bag of nuts too to see if they like them, they deserve a treat after all the diruption they are having while i build thema run !

When I free range in the evenings first thing my chickens head for is the apple orchard to get their fill.

My gals LOVE wild apples. I have a co-worker who brings them to me by the 5 gallon bucket. Every day they get about 20 to share between 15 birds.
