Silly Question - Fiber One Cereal?

So have have a leftover box of Fiber One Cereal. I'm going to toss it but then I thought about the chicks.

Could I smoosh it and give it to them? It's:

Corn Bran
Whole Grain Wheat
Wheat Bran
Corn Starch
Guar Gum
Color
Cellulose Gum
Salt
Baking Soda
Corn Oil
Aspartame
Vitamin E

Any thoughts?

its not like you're going to feed it to them every day, or even give it to them as the only food for an entire day.

Theres no reason it should hurt them. I've given mine scraps of cereal as snacks.

Right, just as a snack. They get groats and grit right now for treats, and I figure that this would prevent tossing a perfectly fine box of cereal!

How old are these birds?

I'd give to hens, crushed...but not to younger birds...and I'm always leery of dyes

I wouldn't give aspartame to anything - won't eat it knowlingly myself.
