Silly question for you Alaska folk

That's peanuts to Ketchikan's 13 Feet. Yes Feet!

Imp-Ketchikan would be heaven for ducks I think.

conditions in my backyard on the Peninsula... scroll down along the left side and you will find the moon phases... just above that is the current sunrise/sunset times. You can adjust for the city, too... Above the Arctic Circle, they have 24 hours of darkness in the winter, 24 hours of daylight in the summer. We're below the arctic circle, so we have a timer that turns a low wattage bulb on at 6am, turns off at dawn, then on at dusk, a off at 9pm. No heat yet in the layer coop, and low heat in the breeder coop to keep the pairs of bantams from freezing too badly.
