Silly question.

Is there enough room in a pullet egg for a chick? If a rooster would make a young pullet egg good, can it hatch?

Yes I've had chicks hatch from pullet eggs. The chick may be small but most of them will survive. Ideally the eggs should be full size to give the chick the best chance of surviving.

Technically a pullet is a female chicken younger than 1 year. It really depends on egg size. I wouldn’t try to incubate a small large fowl egg

It can happen. The chick will only get as big as the nutrition inside the shell allows. You'd get small chicks, though--not a good thing. I'd just wait for the better eggs.

I have a young EE hen who is large but an egg who is small, and the dad is a LO. Chick seems like a bantam. below hrs old
