Ok, I kind of thought that, seriously..because..I was sent some eggs that are supposed to be Welsummer X Black Copper Marans. Well, I just had the most beautiful chick hatch...blue! Out of a nice big Welsummer looking egg..dark. No feathers on the feet. ????
 
Awesome, both BCM and Welsummers lay really dark eggs, so itd be interesting to see how dark the eggs your chicks will lay! Keep us posted!!!
