Silver and Gold Welsh Harlequins

From my calling around Wilcos, only the larger stores have sexed ducklings. We got the Welshies and Appleyard in Corvallis. The "Saxony" (a Pekin drake....) was from the Salem store. I've also gotten sexed ducklings from the Oregon City store.

That is good to know! Those will be my go-to next year. This year I should have been downsizing and instead gave in when I saw the discounted ducks at TSC. Of course all of them turned out to be male with the exception of one pekin girl. Sigh! I'll be more choosy next year

Sadly, our "Saxony" hen turned out to be a Pekin drake.... Super bummed because he's an extra big Pekin drake, way too big for the tiny Welsh hens.
