so i came out this morning and noticed my silver appleyard duck was limping around pretty bad and was abnormally using a lot of wings, when i picked him up i looked at his foot and there was a blackening bulge and i proceeded to put hydrogen peroxide and this healing cream on his bulge. can anyone help me out

Keep hitting it with antiseptic, address wet or soiled footing.
what do you mean by that
I have never had bumble foot in my flock so I don’t know exactly how to treat it. Maybe @Isaac 0 or @Miss Lydia can help you I don’t know :idunno
Sorry I can’t help you and I hope your duck is okay!
ive gotten advice from them before they seem to know what they’re talking about i appreciate it

Sorry to hear about your drake.

Before I suggest anything, I'd really like you to get a few more, up-close, clear pictures of the sore? It's kind of hard to make out what's really going on.

And, may I suggest you use something else to deal with the wound? Hydrogen Peroxide generally isn't used with birds due to its destructive behavior towards wounds, which can ultimately affect proper healing. Saline (homemade if you want), diluted down betadine, or chlorhexidine would all be better choices for flushing/cleaning wounds.

ok i will stop with the hydrogen peroxide and first thing tomorrow morning i’ll grab a picture of his foot since he’s usually calmer in the morning

Bumble is a bacterial infection, so toppical application of antiseptic will often clear it up. Peroxide is not great, alcohol works but hurts, iodine or betadine, or vetracin is good. Bumble is often caused by wet, soiled or sharp substrate either in the run, or house or somewhere they go.
