Silver appleyard

Hi everyone new member here, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my silver appleyard Matilda. She doesn't swim or even attempt to go into water, I don't want to force her but worry about her not getting wet and what effect this will have on her gland? Also if this is normal for the breed I have attached a photo she's very heavy and a big bird.

I don't know enough about ducks to be of any help. If you go to "Other Backyard Poultry," forum above you will find duck threads you can post on. The folks there should be able to help you out. hopefully, I've had her checked over by a vet there isn't anything medically wrong with her. Just thought it might be worth checking if anyone else has this issue with the same breed.
