Silver laced polish-gender please!

These is my super sweet youngster, Funky. It's a silver laced Polish. It's 8-9 weeks (could be a week more or less) I had high hopes it was a girl for the longest, but I fear I see some rooster traits now :C Also, there is no comb or wattles so far...not even any pink skin. So, any guess on what gender this sweetie is?

Id say hen but its really hard to tell at this age. Were did you get it?

With the polish it's hard to go by the crests. If you look up golden laced hens, they look just like yours. I would have to say hen, but it's still a little young to tell with them. I have a 6 month old Golden laced and am yet to be sure what it is.

the only thing I'm wondering though...if it's a roo, then why absolutely no comb and no wattles ? I have a 6 week old maran and a 6 wk old cochin-both have big red combs and red wattles. Polish are so confusing, especially single ones. I love having more than a couple of the same age/breed, then sexing is SO much easier!
