Silver laced wyandotte getting double laced feathers

She is a lovely bird!! -no idea about what would cause this. I had a Golden Laced Wyandotte that molted once and had normal feathers return. After the second molt, she had semi-frizzled feathers, and all sorts of different patterns. -never figured out what happened. After about the fourth molt, she returned to a more normal pattern. -really odd.

😲👍

Same thing happened to my GLW hen! She went through her first molt at just over a year old, and the feathers came back with this almost double laced type of feathering. I don't know what caused it, but it's beautiful!! Came here looking for answers and found your thread
