Chirping
I got five silver laced wyandotte pullets at TSC this year and while I noticed one of them seemed significantly smaller than the others, I didn't think too much of it until recently. Feather patterning seemed the same so if anything I thought maybe they gave me an accidental roo who is just growing/feathering slower.
However, she has a brown spot on the head and in addition to her much smaller size she also does not have yellow feet like the others. Not sure if it matters, but personality wise she's very distinct too; far prefers to scratch treats that fall from my hand to eating them directly and is somewhat of a loner at times. Very quiet and while she does forage, she's just not as active as the others. I worried for a long while she was sick actually. Anyway, do y'all think this a different breed altogether or a mix of some kind? Or am I missing something and she really is a typical SLW?
In the pics, she's the one perching on the wood. I was trying to get really close pics, so the size difference isn't really as obvious as it could be. She's maybe half the size, bulk and weight wise, of the others.
They're about 5 1/2-6 weeks old here.
Last pic is of one of the others for comparison's sake:
