Silver Laced Wyandotte Pullet or Rooster???

Hi, I'm new to the forum and to chickens. I have a question about my 4 week old chick purchased from a local hatchery. "She" is supposedly a pullet, but she is larger and darker than other silver laced wyandottes purchased by my friend at the same time. I'll try to post a few pictures. Is it too early to tell if she is really a she?

It can be tough to tell at 4 weeks. Is the comb bigger than the other SLW you have?

The comb seems about the same as other chicks I bought from the hatchery, but this is the only Wyandotte that I have, so it's hard to compare. The other chicks are Golden Comets and a Barred Rock. My friend and I "split" an order of chicks so the others are at her house.

she looks a little older than my 4-week-old SLWs, but I only have one with a comb that red, and he's definitely a roo. Does it have a rose comb? It's hard to tell from the small pictures.

I'll have to check out the comb color when I get home. I can probably get a better head shot then too. "She" seems to like having her picture taken...

I checked her comb, it's sort of pale tangerine. Not red, but not yellow like the barred rocks. Here's a bit bigger picture. Seems like she grew overnight!!! "She" is 5 weeks old today.

Looks like a girl to me. My boys had bigger blotches of black and white. Girls seem to be more uniformly colored.

Yeah, that is a LOT of red. My 5 SLW chicks are 4 weeks old (these pics are at about 3 weeks), and this is the reddest one that is definitely a roo...

Here's one of my 4-week pullets...

Even my roo doesn't have as much red as yours, but yours is feathered like my girls-- so I have no idea! I don't know how much feathering matters with SLWs, because I have the same question. I have 3 dark-feathered ones but 2 have completely dark combs and one has some red.
