I have got out of Silver Laced Wyandottes completely exept for "Pete". I really want him to have a good life. He is a wonderful gentle giant. Makes a great pet, but also is a show stopper of a roo... great breeder or exhibition bird for you!! He is a 100% Cottage Hill Line roo.
He knows his name and LOVES for you to spill his food a bit. A pinch of crumbles hit the ground and it's like Christmas! lol. Very good rooster. Never seen him be ugly to other chickens and absolutely never was mean towards humans. If he was... he wouldn't be the one I held onto the longest.
He loves pumpkin, scratch, cranberries, and flour tortillas. He kinda likes watermelon, kale, spinach, and peanuts (raw, of course).
Pete is 1 1/2 years old. Still "active" in his rooster duties.
Pick up only... we deliver to public meeting spots for pickups. Monroe & McMinn Counties are perfect... further out, ask. I'm willing to do what it takes to find him a great home.
ETA: Please DO NOT PM ME about him. I will get questions faster (and answer faster) if you email me at [email protected] - 'priciate it!
