OK, so we have established that I probably have two Barred Rock pullets. Excellent.

Here are my SLW's, Rosie and Zippy. They are 5 weeks old, identical in size, identical in tail feathers, both are kinda shy.

Rosie has a single comb, but I love her anyway;

Zippy is closer to breed standard with her little lumpy baby rose comb.

What sex are they? Their combs are really red, huh! But they are so shy and quiet. Rosie sort of has little wattles that are developing, but they are really subtle.

They are sexed chicks from a feed store. It is certainly possible that I struck out and both are actually roos- one in a hundred chance isn't THAT unreasonable.

Well, we'll see. Any other opinions?
