Silver Laced Wyandotte SLW Rooster Progeny Grow Along

Only the egg color. We had Golden comet crosses= brown eggs, white leghorn cross = white egg, Wyandotte (silver and gold) = beige egg. She hatched from a beige egg so I assume she’s all Wyandotte.
I have seen hatchery wyandottes with a similar pattern. Though it’s also possible that she’s a golden comet x wyandotte mix if one laid an abnormally light egg.

Week 10. Out into the new playpen we go.

We do!!! 9 delicious cockerels and 7 pullets!
Actually make that 10 and 6, 🤫. The mixes are really starting to show their type and it’s super clear from the tail feathers which ones had a Golden Golden comet or a Leghorn hen for a mother. The next little batch is 5 weeks behind them and so far there’s been only mild pecking and chasing.

I think you're right about the egg color and her being a mix. Now that they're getting older, she's definitely not acting like the three SLW girls.
