x2 we need the age.Age please?
Age please?
Could you wait, say, another two weeks then post pics of the comb please? It's a little young to be sure, although I don't see any early cockerel signs.Between 4 and 5 weeks. I've had her (?) for 4 weeks. I'm not exactly how old it was when we adopted from the store.

It depends. Yes, cockerels can be mean and have an attitude, but there are also bossy pullets that do that too. So there really isn't a good ways to Telly eh difference except by comb color.Sure! I will post follow up pictures. I've tried googling, and the images I've found seemed to have the coloring of what they were showing are female. And there are no signs of pink/red in the comb so far. I'm just feeling a little unsteady about those findings so far because she seems to have a bit of a bad attitude! :/ She jump kicks the other chicks. I'm not sure if that's a sign that she's a he.... or if maybe she just wants to be at the top of the pecking order!
Thanks for all the replies!!
Fear not, even pullets can exhibit "bossy" behavior.
