Here are my two SLW that are 22 days old. I know, I know it's still early- but I'm dying to know

The past couple of days I've seen such changes between the two of them that I'm thinking one must be a cockerel?

One of the SLW has a yellowish comb and the other ones is really turning red. Also the one with the yellow comb's legs are a lot more yellow then the one with the red comb. Is this a sign or am I just being impatient and imagining things?

Appreciate you experience and guesses!

Too early to tell for me. I had some early developing pullets a couple years ago that had everyone thinking cockerel. Wait a few more weeks...

Thank you

Way to early to tell, SLW's can show a little red very early so you cannot go by the color on these type of birds just yet.

How about the difference in leg color? Does that matter?

I don't believe leg color would identify a roo from a pullet, I had also thought at one time one of my girls was going to be a roo very early on, but in fact that one actually became the better pullet with better lacing and all, I just think you have to give this breed some time, and by 8-10 weeks it was absolute for me, I knew 100% I had 2 girls, but up until then, it was 50/50.
