Is it possible that I have been mislead when I purchased my Wyandottes? They were sold to me as being born on Apr 9th..... They are soooo much smaller than the Black Stars I hatched out on Apr 7th and when my sister and I picked them up they were in a VERY cold garage with regular bulbs that did not seem too warm to me... could the lack of heat and possibility of the lack of proper nutrition account for them being so small and so far behind? when I got them home I gave them some Sav-A-Chick immediately and that seemed to perk them up, but the are still not near the size of our babies that were only born 2 days earlier.... mine already have their combs and wattles and can easily determine which ones are Roo's, these guys are so hard to determine.... their combs are not even barely visible and either are their wattles.... could it be possible that they were born later than the 9th?
these were taken Apr 30th....
