Silver Laced Wyondotte pullet or cockerel?

. I think that is what is confusing me. When I look at their combs, I do not see any red or large bumps at all. The 1st one does have a larger area and it is a bit more pink towards the back, but the second one it is narrower and not pink at all. I guess only time will tell.

You may have one of each-still early to tell...and the pictures are fuzzy. The first one has a pinker comb-so I would say cockerel. The second, best I can see, may be a girl-but see how they look in 2-3 weeks.

You're welcome! It is always much easier to tell when you are looking at the combs in person. Sometimes photos don't capture the true color and shape of the comb. Like PeakyBeaky said, the photos are a bit fuzzy, which makes it harder to tell. You're best to wait a few more weeks and then we can try and help you more. I had two chicks this year that I was completely convinced that they were both boys when they were 4 weeks old, and they both ended up being girls. So we'll have to see what happens with yours!
