Silver Sebright Feather Tint

I'm still a new chicken mom, so please bear with me. I have a Silver Sebright Bantam that I just recently noticed has tints on her feathers. When the light hits her feathers the black tints to purple or green. Her sister, a Golden Sebright Bantam doesn't seem to have this. Is this something that's common with black feathers or is it genetics?

Yes, black feathers often have a purple or green sheen. Your silver Sebright will develop a lot more white, with lacing.
