I’ve heard that the comb and wattles are a way to tell sex of chicken. I’ve also heard that’s not full proof. Any idea if I have a roo or pullet? 7 weeks old.

I wouldn't use him for breeding because he has a single comb which is a disqualification.

Breed standards. If you show a bird, it has to comply with the standards. The Sebright standard calls for a rose comb.

Thank you. I had planned on breeding him but I will not be now. He’s still pretty to look at.

@Cyprus is dead on. Your Sebright is a cockerel and does have an incorrect comb for his breed standard. If your breeding to standard "as everyone should in my opinion" he shouldn't be used for breeding.
