Silver spangled hamburg 5 1/2 weeks

New to me breed, and a bit of wishful thinking(is meant to he my daughter's bird)has me at the point that I can't trust myself on gender for this one.....only one of this breed so nothing to compare to

Yeah...it sure seems unusual for rose-combed pullets to develop so fast....

Are you able to keep this one? Hamburg cockerels make for incredible eye candy.

Unfortunately we are a no roo household now (live in city limits now). He will probably end up at the landlords farm

 

[Crazy for Chickens!]

It's a bit young, but there's nothing pointing to cockerel at this point. Post another pic in a couple weeks. The comb is a bit more wide, like a cockerel's might be, but it's not red or anything......yet.
