I was wondering if maybe those that are interested would consider contributing there money now. Then we can afford them quicker. Than when they lay you get a free dozen eggs or 2 chicks or whatever you payed for. Just a thought.

did you read the article they wrote about their birds? if they are the only ones in the US with these birds and all the other were smuggled in- doesn't that make you wonder where theirs came from legally or not? I'd be very suspicious to send any money.
I hope I'm not out of line here, but there are
plenty of phoney websites out their just willing to take your money.
I take it that you will be picking these birds up in person not that anyone can tell what color day old chicks will turn out to be but at least you will know their physical location if you get burned and they have not moved. I hope for your sake, they are legit.

I am fairly confident in these people. They auction Coronation Sussex on eggbid and have nothing but excellent feedback.

I agree, there are a lot of not so nice people out there and you can't be too careful. I also would not recommend buying into something that is not a sure thing - meaning paying for eggs from chicks that haven't been hatched yet, let alone laying. Folks, please be smart & safe with any Internet transactions.
