Silver whatsit

One of the problems with buying chicks at a feed store is that the different breeds of chicks get mixed up and it is difficult to tell just what you are buying. This bird is hatched May 11th and was supposed to be a SLW. Obviously she isn't, any ideas what she might be?

I think she's a badly colored silver laced wyandotte.. But can't really get a "good picture" of her... What type of comb does she have?

Looks like a SLW to me, just has alot of white. The comb is also correct for a SLW.

I think she's a SLW, too. Someone forgot to paint her lacing.

i agree with the others. she's extra special! maybe she's a secret new project SLW! it'll be a new trend in Wyandottes! everyone will want one soon!

I agree she's a SLW...the hatchery ones very rarely, if ever look like a SLW is supposed to. I think she's a pretty bird tho and will probably lay you a lot of nice eggs.

I had 3 SLW's from a feed store, and all 3 looked a lot like her!
