I have a Silver Wyandotte and to me she is the prettiest of the bunch. Her feathers are so amazing. They are so full and uniform. She's a fine example considering I got her from a feed store.

Quote:She sure is pretty but she can be quite mean to the other girls. I guess she thinks she rules the roost!

    My SLW is bossy too!

I don't know why, but SLW are uncommon in my area. A lot of the common US breeds are not easy to find in Canada. Barred rock and Delaware are easy to find. As are silkies.

Here is my girl, Dott. She is not as friendly as some of the others, but she eats from my hand. [IMG]

Your girl is really pretty coming from a feed store!

Yours is pretty too. She's so full and plump looking like mine. I guess that's part of the breed. I need to look at the breed index!

Yeah, I find they are quite plump [IMG] I love the look of them! The lacing is so pretty! I would love to get a golden laced one next spring.
