So added 6, 4 week old SB chicks to the bigger pen today. I have one 8 week old SB along with a painted silkie in that pen. Little buggers would just not stay still long enough for me to snap pics. but I did get a pic with four of them. In love with the pattern on the blue who mom named owley because of the eye pattern when hatched. (Head down in the pic)

From what I read about them, they sound perfect! Going to a breeder in Colorado to pick up the chicks this summer

Lovely group! I really enjoy the variation in coloring and how even the egg color varies.

Wonderful to have found this thread! I'm one year into owning chickens and are hatching a batch of SB from a registered group the coming week.
