Similar to Waterfowl?

I may have an almost 6 month old cockerel that is at his last stop if he doesn’t shape up before freezer camp. I am an avid waterfowl hunter but a first time chicken owner. I was curious if cleaning chickens has any similarities to say a duck or goose. Have plenty experience breasting out and full dressing ducks and geese so didn’t know if its a different ball game with chickens or pretty similar! Thanks!

I've only cleaned chickens and turkey, no waterfowl, but I'd expect the process to be very similar. The main difference is probably in the feathers. From what I've read on here the ducks and geese feathers are harder to pluck. If you skin them there should be no real difference.
