So, I have 4 RIR and 1-Delaware....

good birds...all very healthy....the Del got into a fight with a coon a few months ago, she has almost NO beak but shes doing just fine today and eating pretty well considering her beak is not what is should be....I do not think she is laying much these days as I usually get 4 eggs....but she sits in the box so maybe she is laying....about every 7-10 days I get 5 eggs, assume 1 per bird.....

anyways,

the last 2-3 days.....very light colored eggs, one almost white and ONE TOTALLY WHITE egg....!

My girls are all about 1yr old now....

Shold I be concerned?

Fresh water each n every day!

Layer pellets each day

A good handful of BOSS every night...

I get home about 6pm and they free range outside until sun set....845ish....

Im baffled??? Im concerned.....but, should I be?

I've never heard of a birds egg color changing. isn't supposed to happen - but I doubt if it will hurt them.

As far as the 4 or 5 eggs - this is pretty normal. Each chicken will lay 1 egg per day until they have a 'clutch' usually 7 to 10 eggs. Then they skip a day & start over on a new one.
