I'm wondering if the release of the 'study' has anything to do with it being April 1st????![]()

Just read about an experiment BYC did about using reflective tinfoil in the nest boxes and how it increased the broodiness of their hens by 48%, so, of course, I have got to try this.
Or it could be their version of an April Fools joke.......Beware!![]()
LOL.. I'll have to check it out....that's too funny, May be an April fools joke, the whole tinfoil thing is just to funny, but then stranger things have happened , this thread is testament to that lol.![]()
I know! That's why it really caught my eye and I was excited...because stranger things have happened and I LOVE a good experiment...but as you read further about the hormones, etc. you realize that someone is yanking yer chain.
You know what would be really funny? If someone went ahead and tried this and got several broodies out of doing it!![]()
Happy April Fools Day y'all!I'm going to try this whole tinfoil experiment on my flock and see if I can pop a broody before these chicks are hatched....anyone else want to try this? It sure would be cool to have a mama to brood these chicks for me.
