Simultaneous Hatch?! Help!

Oh ok more eggs that may be GOOD? I read some ppl go by the size of their air cells to see what humidity they should have GOOD idea....Seems you are doing that.Really great!
I should have done so the last hatch i think as 2 died at the end and one pipped but didnt hatch. Think it was the low humidity.the troubelshooter for my inc. says wrong humiidty or temp if they died at the end.
.My temp was really steady the whole hatch.
I need to try this myself but with the brown eggs i can barely see anything but a dark blob.If it gets bigger or moves then i know its alive.dont see much at first at all.a slightly darker area at the big end. with a black dot in it...I am assuming its the yolk and then an eye or chick?
Guess i need a GOOD candler

Well, they're going to be shipped eggs lol so in terms of air cell size I hope they'll be fresher/better than these! I'm really hemming and hawing about combining the two hatches now. Though if I'm running it at a higher humidity for most of the time these new eggs are in there I think they'd definitely drown, especially during lockdown.. :| If only I had the money to just get another incubator. I THOUGHT I got a good candler (the incubright) but I think there are much brighter LED flashlights out there.

What you may be seeing is what we call a "wonky" air cell. It looks way bigger than it is because it is odd shaped & runs down the side of the egg. These are especially common in shipped eggs or eggs that were handled roughly.

I was thinking that this morning when I checked on them again. When I compared the area of the air cell with the rest of the egg, it was actually not that bad, except for the one little egg that I think is definitely too large (and will only dry out faster compared to the others). This is a weird solution and I'm wondering if it'll work: I cut up the large end of one of my chicken's egg shells, sterilized it in boiling water, dried it, and then put it on top of that egg as a little cap. I'm assuming there will still be air exchange, it'll just be as if it's an extra thick shell on top. Will be interesting to see where this goes. I also noticed that one of the eggs has what I think is a ruptured air cell. It seems like there's liquid shifting around inside the air cell (you know how when you crack open an egg, there's the thick egg white, but there's also very watery white - it seems like the latter is up there.

I get a lot like that in my shipped eggs & have never had 1 with a ruptured air cell develop. I have had some with loose air cells stabili2e & develop. You have to let them settle longer before setting & wait longer before you start turning them. Give them 48 hours before setting & don't start turning until day 3.
