Hello, everybody! I am new to the site and I have been quite interested in this species of quail known as the Singing Quail. I have been unable to find barely any information on this quail breed, and the only information I found is that It is native to Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. My main question is what is the diet for this breed? Are there any breeders in the United States? Behavior or aggression issues? Laying count and incubation period? Any information will be very useful. Thank you for reading.

Howdy :frow and Welcome to BYC!

I don't know of any breeders in the U.S.

You might try SoftbillsforSale.com
Put an add in the WANTED or ISO section.

I think there was a member on here back in 2013, in Africa, that had some? Might do a search on here to find that member and send them a PM?
Good Luck!

Such a pretty quail i want one now

My advice is to contact local exotic bird and pet stores, they may be able to special order them from a supplier.

It said it is very hard to find these birds, and capturing one in the wild is extremally difficult. I just want to get a pair for breeding purpose.
