Singing to a rooster

Ok this is weird but i was working at the ag farm during my animal handling and one of the roosters was limping so we caught him. His spur had grown back into his leg. Our teacher helped us take care of him and the whole time I was holding him. He was freaking out at first so I held him against my chestand sang to him. He literal fell asleep. All I did was say hay dude over and over so he'd calm down and I looked down at him and he was sleeping against my chest. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Chickens do fall asleep quite often in people.Escoecially when it stressful situations.
