Single breed flocks??

I am working on getting a single breed flock going here as we speak. I presently have some mutts with a Welsummer roo, but am working on getting Orpingtons here to replace them. I have Buffs and some BBS hopefully hatching in the next few days. I plan on keeping the colors separated, but they will all be the same breed. The BO's that I have now are very calm and friendly. Grandkids can walk around them without worrys. The horses and dogs don't bother them either!
