Hi guys,
I'm kinda worried, today my ducks made a mess of the brooder box, and today was also the first day that we decided to move the brooder out to the garage. When I went to check on my little ones, the brooder box was rather wet, and one of my chicks was hiding under the waterer, all curled up. She is still acting VERY lethargic, and letting me handle her (sitting on my chest as I type this, when usually they aren't really fans of being held) is it possible that she just got too cold out there (we moved them back into the living room for fear of the chill), maybe she's just tired? or is there something more sinister happening? She appears to be the only one feeling icky, all the rest are acting totally normal, so I feel like it's unlikely to be something she was exposed to, but we did treat the outside of our house for bugs today as well, but the chickens are currently inside chickens.
Thanks guys, sorry it's a little rambling but I'm a bit panicky because my little baby Sweenie isn't seeming to be so hot.

Sweenie may have taken a chill. I am not a chicken person, but I have heard that is one of the risks of brooding ducklings and chicks together - water splash.

I don't know if chicks can quickly develop pneumonia, but I would not rule that out. Aside from that, I leave it to the chicken folks to help.

You might try giving her some lukewarm water with electrolytes in it?

Terribly sorry for the late reply, I honestly didn't realize that anyone had replied to it. Sweenie is absolutely fine. After about an hour of sitting with me, I got her to drink a little water and she perked right up, back into her normal self! I was so glad it was just that she was a little chilly.
Thanks!
