One does not do well alone, unless you are there 24/7 to keep it company.

I would get 3 minimum. If you only get 2 and something happens to 1, then you have the single shick problem.

Also integrating later is easier for a group of younger ones than just 1 or 2.

Going by my chicken math you should get at least 5, maybe 6 or 7.

lol i went to the store and got two once can home and my husband(chicken exp.) said no no you need to at least have 4 or 5. he and i went to the store ended up with 12 at the end.
